Mongolian BBQ

I love Mongolian Barbecue, and there's a terrific little restaurant close to my work that serves it. It's called Gobi Mongolian BBQ House, and it's in Silverlake. It's quick, because you make up your plate yourself with fresh veggies, noodles and sauces. There is also a good selection of meat, which I usually don't eat. But I can tell you from occasional experience that the meat is very good! All you have to wait for is for the guys behind the grill to fry up your selections. I have very little time on my lunch hour, so I'm always on the lookout for something that's really good, but not too time-consuming. Waiters bring baskets full of delicious little sesame rolls and drinks to the table. I usually drink lemonade, but they have a large selection of alcoholic beverages and iced teas. The desserts are also good. I especially like the rice pudding. I usually eat there once per week. I believe in living large! LOL Address: 2827 W. Sunset Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90026 (213) 989-0711 Hours: Sun.-Thurs. 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fri. & Sat. 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Guten Apetit! Jen :)
