It's a boy!

Yes, I am now five months pregnant and have recently discovered that it's a boy!

This is so exciting! I waited for over eleven years to adopt a baby and that never happened, and, of course, I never got pregnant either. But now I'm going to be having that long-awaited baby at the end of January. It hardly seems possible, but it's true.

Our little family is busy getting the nursery ready and we have registered with Target's baby registry. I didn't realize they had such cute baby stuff. And what's more, a lot of their baby products are chemical free and biodegradable. I'm so happily surprised! Here I thought I was going to be stuck buying expensive baby stuff at Whole Foods. Now I won't have to compromise my cherished ideals of environmentalism and frugality. Yay!
